This viewpoint is located next to the A-4132 road, on the stretch between Pampaneira and Pitres. Next to this viewpoint is the Castillejo de Poqueira, whose ruins can be visited. It was an Islamic defensive fortress, and today some walls, remains of the tower and the cistern are still preserved. From this viewpoint you can enjoy exceptional views of the villages of the Barranco de Poqueira and the peaks of El Veleta and El Mulhacén.

Located about 47 km from Pampaneira, this viewpoint, situated at a considerable altitude, offers iconic views of the villages in the ravine: Capileira, Bubión and Pampaneira.
