Threshing floor de la Ermita
Located in the upper part of Pampaneira, its name comes from the old chapel that once stood there. Used for agricultural work, it is a cobbled area that was used for threshing cereals and later for winnowing, the process of separating the grain from the chaff. It offers a panoramic view of the ravine.
Threshing floor de la Venta
Located in the lower part of the village, it is circular in shape and paved with cobblestones, and is smaller than the Threshing floor de la Ermita. From this point there is a beautiful panoramic view of Pampaneira, the Barranco del Poqueira (Poqueira Ravine) and, in the background, you can see the Veleta peak, 3,396 metres above sea level. It is the fourth highest peak in Spain.
